Almaden Senior Association — San Jose

The Almaden Senior Association is a 501c(3) corporation which conducts its business at the City-operated Almaden Community Center and supports the City of San Jose Senior Program. The Association initiates, supports, and promotes programs and activities for the active adult (50+) population at the Center, and works in collaboration with the City staff responsible for operating the Center to coordinate events, classes and workshops to meet the recreational and social needs of the membership. Association volunteers assist City staff with program planning, advise staff on events and purchases, organize and conduct a wide variety of social events throughout the year, and maintain communication between senior membership and City staff.
